A lotto ticket worth $600,000 was sold at the Homewood Mobil station, 17500 S. Dixie Highway, according to Illinois Lottery officials.
The winning numbers for Lucky Day Lotto ticket were drawn midday Friday, lottery officials said.
Officials said the ticket matches all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers are: 03 – 18 – 29 – 32 – 33.
An attendant at the gas station said the station had not yet been made aware of the winning lottery ticket sale when contacted Friday afternoon.
The station will receive a bonus of $6,000 or 1 percent of the prize, for selling the ticket, according to lottery officials.
Lottery officials recommended that the winner immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it safe until that person can visit one of Illinois Lottery’s five prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
The winner has up to one year from the drawing date to redeem the money.
