The Irish Lotto draw was conducted on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 and a jackpot of €8.8 million was up for grabs.
Even though there were no winners for the grand prize in Saturday night’s Irish Lotto drawing, there were 17 players who were able to land a tidy sum.
The main draw
The winning numbers that were drawn in the main draw on Saturday night were 23, 24, 37, 42, 45, 46 and 20 was the bonus number.
Those players who were able to match the five numbers in the main draw on Saturday were able to win a prize of €1,944 each.
The next drawing of the Irish Lotto is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022.
There were also 96 players who were able to share an additional prize of €1 million in Saturday night’s lottery drawing, which meant that they each won a prize of €10,917 each.
The other draws
The top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw was €500 and there were 33 people who were able to match the five main numbers in that draw to win the prize.
The numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 draw were 11, 14, 17, 19, 21 and 28, while 30 was the bonus number.
As far as the Lotto Plus 2 draw is concerned, the winning numbers for that draw were 01, 04, 20, 26, 27 and 46, while 38 was the bonus number.
There were 18 people who were able to win a prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw, which was about €250 each and they were able to do so by matching five numbers in the draw.
Ireland Only Raffle
Meanwhile, the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’, which is conducted with the EuroMillions drawing was also held on Friday, December 16th, 2022.
There were 10 individual players who were able to win a prize of €50,000 each all over Ireland.
The special raffle prize was won by 2 players in Dublin and one player each from Sligo, Offaly, Longford, Kildare, Louth, Galway, Waterford and Kilkenny.
This was the 10th draw of the special ’12 Draws of Christmas’ promotion of the National Lottery with the EuroMillions draw.
There are 2 more draws remaining, which will be conducted on Tuesday, December 20th and Friday, December 23rd with the EuroMillions lottery drawing.
Friday’s EuroMillions drawing also saw a player in Laois win big, as they were able to match five numbers that allowed them to land a prize of €41,399.
