The latest Mega Millions lottery draw was conducted on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, which had a massive jackpot of $400 million and came with a cash option of $217.8 million.

No jackpot winner

The winning numbers that were picked in the Mega Millions lottery draw on Tuesday night were 14, 22, 48, 58 and 68, with 06 being the gold Mega Ball and 2X was the Megaplier.

Unfortunately, none of the players were able to hit the numbers drawn that would have helped them with the big prize.

This means that it would now roll over to the next drawing of the Mega Millions lottery, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 16th, 2022.

The jackpot for Friday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing would now climb to $429 million and this would come with a cash value of $233.6 million.

No instant wins

Not only was there not a grand prize winner in the Mega Millions lottery draw on Tuesday night, but there were also no instant millionaires from the drawing.

This means that none of the players were able to hit the Match 5 that would have helped them win a prize of $1 million, or they could have also increased it to $2 million had they bought the Megaplier.

Other wins

Even though there may not have been any million-dollar wins in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing, players were still able to win smaller monetary prizes.

These included 23 players who were able to hit the Match 4 as well as the gold Mega Ball, which allowed them to win a prize of $10,000 each.

In addition, there were five players who not only hit the Match 4 and the gold Mega Ball, but also bought the Megaplier with their tickets, which helped double their prizes to $20,000 each.

As far as other prizes that were paid out in the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday night, they were between $2 and $1,000. The total number of tickets that won prizes were 875,187.

The latest Mega Millions lottery drawing will take place in the midst of the holiday season that has historically resulted in massive jackpots.

If the jackpot is won in Tuesday night’s drawing, it would be the 15th biggest jackpots to have been paid out in the history of the Mega Millions lottery.

Anyone who wins the jackpot has the option of claiming the prize in a lump sum in which they receive the cash value of the prize.

The other option is that of an annuity in which they receive one immediate payment and the rest spread out across 29 annual payments that increase by 5% every year.

The drawings of the Mega Million lottery are held two times in a week, every Tuesday and Friday, in 45 US states, the Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
