The Powerball lottery was scheduled for Monday, October 17th, 2022 and had a jackpot of $485 million that came with a cash option of $244.7 million.

Jackpot goes up

The numbers drawn in Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw were 19, 30, 36, 46, 60 and 25 was the red Powerball number, while 3X was the Power Play.

Unfortunately, there were no winners for the jackpot in Monday night’s draw, which means that the prize would now roll over to the upcoming draw.

The next drawing of the Powerball lottery is scheduled for Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 and since the previous jackpot has now rolled over, it has cross the half a billion mark.

Thus, the grand prize for the draw on Wednesday night is now $508 million and it will have a cash option of $256.3 million.

Other prizes

Even though there were no winners for the grand prize in the Powerball drawing on Monday night, there were other winners.

As a matter of fact, there were a total of three players who were able to become instant millionaires in the draw.

They were able to hit the Match 5, which allowed them to win a prize of $1 million each. Two of the players were from Wisconsin and Iowa.

However, one player hailing from Kentucky not only hit the Match 5, but had also opted for the Power Play option, which allowed them to double their winnings to $2 million.

But, there were not just the three winners, as there were other players who also managed to win notable prizes in Monday night’s Powerball draw.

A total number of 15 players were able to hit the Match 4 and also the Powerball number, which allowed them to win a prize of $50,000 each.

There were also four lucky players who not only hit the Match 4 and the Powerball number, but also opted for the Power Play option, so they were able to increase their winnings to $150,000 each.

As for other players, they were able to win prizes between the ranges of $4 and $300. Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw saw a total of 590,044 player walk away with prizes.

Previous winner

This latest drawing comes after a $1 million prize was claimed by a lucky player in Massachusetts for the Powerball drawing on September 13th.

They bought the ticket in Lowell at Market Basket and is now planning on using the prize to purchase a house. A $10,000 bonus would be given to the supermarket for selling the winner ticket.

There have now been 32 Powerball drawings that have not had a jackpot winner, which has seen the jackpot grow to such a huge amount.

However, the current Powerball jackpot has not yet reached a record status, but it is coming close to $564.1 million, which is the tenth-largest prize in its history.
