SOME lucky person in Cork is waking up in 2017 €1million richer after winning the National Lottery Millionaire Raffle.
There were also five big prizes over €100,000 which are making five families very happy this New Year’s Day.
The €250,000 ticket was sold in Donegal while the four €100,000 tickets were sold in Dublin, Kerry and Westmeath.
The winning ticket was bought in Topaz on Lower Tivoli Road in Cork on the 21st December.
The other golden prized ticket of €250,000 was bought at American House on Main Street, Bundoran, Co Donegal.
While the four €100,000 tickets were purchased in Dunnes Stores, Athlone Shopping Centre, Co. Westmeath, Eason on Church Street in Listowel Co Kerry, Spar, Curzon House, Abbey Street, Dublin 1 and Daybreak, Sillogue Road, Ballymun, Dublin 11.
There were a further 3,176 prizes won and all results can be found on lottery.ie
All Christmas Millionaire Raffle ticket holders have 90 days from the day of the draw to collect their prizes.
The top six prizes can only be collected in National Lottery offices in Dublin.
